Is Olapic a substitute for a professional photographer at my wedding or event?

Our service makes it easy for you to gather and organize all of the photos that your friends and guests take. These candid photos are priceless memories that complement pictures taken by a professional. We strongly recommend you use a professional photographer as well as Olapic so you don't miss a moment of your big event.

How much does it cost?

We offer four levels of service:

Will my wedding remain private?

Now, more than ever, privacy is crucial. Every Olapic account is password protected.

Some Olapic customers choose to make a selection of their photos public, while the rest remain private and password-protected.

Others keep all photos private, allowing only friends with whom they've shared their account password to view their photos.

We encourage you to select the privacy setting that makes you most comfortable.

Do you sell or distribute the email addresses I upload to anyone?

Olapic is anti-spam. We pledge never to distribute and/or sell email information to a third party. Please read our privacy policy for more details about this important matter.

How do I create an account?

It takes less than a minute and a minimum of information: your name, email address, event date, and choice of plan. Go to our sign-up page.

Can I download my pictures?

Yes! You can download your pictures as many times as you like—either one by one, as a selected group, or all of them at once.

What is the quality of the pictures I will receive?

Every photo on Olapic displays and downloads at the same quality level as it was uploaded. Unlike Facebook and Picassa, we do not compress photos, which lowers the quality. This means you can expect the best photos available.

Why can't I see any pictures on the public profile?

Olapic account holders can select whether photo uploads are made private or public as they are added to their account. If you have uploaded photos but cannot view them, the account holder has opted to keep the photos private for the time being.

Is there a limit number of pictures guests can upload?

No. You can receive as many pictures as you like. If you are using our free Try It plan and your guests upload more than 100 pictures, you will not have access beyond the 100-photo limit until you upgrade your account.

Can I order prints of my pictures?

Yes, we offer photo printing in throughout the U.S.

There is additional shipping charges for international orders.

Can my guests order print pictures?

Yes, your guests can order prints of any photos that you have made public in your public profile.

Can I delete pictures that I don't want?

Yes. In fact, you can delete a whole selection of pictures at once. But before you do, we suggest you organize the photos you want to delete into a separate album and revisit them at a later date. You may change your mind.

How can I maximize the number of pictures I can collect?

It's simple. Our communication tool automatically reminds your guests to upload their photos to your account. If you enter email addresses for all your guests, you will get the maximum number of photos. The few email addresses in the tool, the fewer photos you will receive.

If you purchase the Picture This or Photobook Plus plan, you will also receive 100 reminder cards to distribute at your event. This further increases your chances for receiving lots of photos.

Why do we ask guests for their name and email before they upload pictures?

This enables the account holder with an easy way to track which guests uploaded pictures. It also lets us know who has uploaded photos so we don't send them a reminder for something they've already done. The names and addresses are not used for any other reason.
